At the northeastern coast of Singapore lies a place trapped in time. A place filled with an abundance of natural flora and fauna, preserved from urban development, concrete buildings and tarmac roads. For some people, it's a place that bears witness to the old kampung (village) life in Singapore that existed before modern industrialization and urban development. As modernization sets in, this will inevitably change. But for now, Ubin will be as close to utopia for some. This is a photographic study about the last seemingly "untouched" island, off the northeastern coast of Singapore.
